Answer:

2. The Indian desert extends towards the Western edge of the Aravali ranges. It is a moving sandy field embraced with sand knolls. This area experiences below 150 mm per year rainfall, which is very low. The arid climate and moderate vegetation are the two most important features of the Indian desert

3. There are various types of tectonic plates out of which major plates are like - Eurasian plate, Indian plate, African plate, American plate etc. Also there are many smaller plate like Java plate, Australian plate etc . This plates are always moving . when a plate gets far from another plate it creates a relief feature when a plate crashes with another plate it causes a huge energy release which causes earthquake . In this way types of tectonic plate movement responsible for relief formation .

4. The following are the two factors responsible for the geographical shape of India:

a. Divergent and convergent drifts are the two forces that caused two continental plates split and overlap.

b. The extent and position of the continents have been developed due to the inclination of these crustal strata over millions of ages. The modern land-form characteristics and reliefs of India are the part of this process.

5. Gondwana, also called Gondwanaland, ancient supercontinent that incorporated present-day South America, Africa, Arabia, Madagascar, India, Australia, and Antarctica.
