(2x+1)/(6x-1)=2/5
5(2x+1)=2(6x-1)
10x+5=12x-2
2x=7
x=7/2
putting the value in lhs
(7+1)/(21-1)=8/20=2/5
LHS=RHS

2x+1/6x-1=2/5 =>cross multiply we get 5(2x+1)=2(6x-1)=>10x+5 =12x-2 =>12x-10x=7=>2x=7
=>x=7/2. now to check whether it is a solution or not
substitute x=7/2 in 2x+1/6x-1= 2(7/2)+1/6(7/2)-1 =7+1/21-1 =8/20= 2/5 . so x=7/2 is a solution of 2x+1/6x-1 =2/5 . Hope it helps you... Mark me as Brainliest .
