Answer :-

 \bold{2(x - 2) + 3(4x - 1) = 0} \\ \\ \bold{ : \implies 2x- 4 + 12x - 3 = 0 } \\ \\ \bold{: \implies 14x - 7 = 0 } \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \bold{: \implies 14x = 7 }\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \bold{ : \implies \: x = \cancel{ \frac{7}{14} }} \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \bold{ : \implies \: x = { \frac{1}{2} }} \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:

so, value of x is 1/2 or 0.5
