Hey Mate!!

Given , 2(x-3)2 - 32

Take 2 common.

2 [ (x-3) ^2- 16 ]

2 [ (x-3) ^2 - (4)^2 ]

Apply the identity a^2 - b^2 = (a+b) (a-b)

2 ( x-3+4) ( x-3-4)

2(x+1) (x-7)

Hope this helps you!!
