to solve this equation
we have take common from that both equations that is 1/√x and 1/√y then assume that
1/√x = a and 1/√y =b
then we get equations as
2a+3b=2........(1)
4a-9b=1..........(2)
multiple the first equation with 3 then we get 6a+9b=6........(1) adding eq 1 and 2 we get
the value a= 7/10 then subistitue the value of a in the first equation we get b that is
b=1/5 at first we assume that 1/√x= a and 1/√y=b
substitute the values in these 1/√x = 7/10 squaring on both sides we get 1/x= 49/100 then x =100/49 and
1/√y =1/5 squaring on both sides we get 1/y=1/25 from that we get y=25
Hence x=100/49 and y= 25
