6p+12q-7= 0 -------> eq (1)

2p+3q-2= 0 --------> eq (2)

multiplying equation (2)×2 and

subtracting eq (2) from eq (1) we get,

q= 1/3

substituting value of q in eq (1) we get:

6p + (12 ÷ 3) - 7 = 0

6p + 4 - 7 = 0

6p - 3 = 0

p = 3/6= 1/2

thus, p = 1/2 and q = 1/3

so x= 2 and y= 3
