Take LCM of right side

 \frac{2}{x}   =   \frac{9 - 5}{36}

 \frac{2}{x}  =  \frac{4}{36}

 \frac{2}{x}  =  \frac{1}{4}

Cross multiple

 \frac{2}{x}   \times   \frac{1}{4}

x \times 1 =  {2}   \times  {4}

x=  {2}   \times  {4}

x=  8
