Solution :-

By using quadratic formula

\implies  \boxed{\sf x =  \dfrac{ - b\pm \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac} }{2a}}

Here

  • a = 2
  • b = 9
  • c = 0

Substitute values in formula

\implies \sf x =  \dfrac{ - 9\pm \sqrt{ {9}^{2} - 4 \times 2 \times0} }{2 \times 2}

 \implies \sf x =  \dfrac{ - 9 \pm \sqrt{81} }{4}

 \implies \sf x =  \dfrac{ - 9 \pm 9 }{4}

Taking +ve sign

 \implies \sf x =  \dfrac{ - 9+9 }{4}

 \implies \sf x =  \dfrac{0}{4}

 \implies \sf x =0

Taking -ve sign

 \implies \sf x =  \dfrac{ - 9  -  9 }{4}

 \implies \sf x =  \dfrac{ - 18}{4}

 \implies \sf x =  \dfrac{9}{2}

Zeroes of equation are 0 and 9/2
