Answer:

2x^2-18y^2

1.2x^2-18y^2=0

2x^2=18y^2

x^2=9y^2(equation)

x = root of 9y^2

x = 3y(equation 2)

Substitute: (equation) to find y

x^2=9y^2

(3y)^2=(9y)^2

9y^2=81y^2

y^2=81y^2/9

y^2=9y^2

SQUARING ON BOTH SIDES

ROOT OF (y^2)= ROOT OF (9y^2)

y = 3y( y gets cancelled)

So, y = 1

Then, to find x substitute y in (equation 2)

x=3y

x=3(1)

So, x = 3

X = 3 ; Y = 1.
