Subject: High level of Noise pollution.

Sir,

I request you to lend voice to my deep concern regarding the alarming rise in the level of noise pollution in the City. Excessive noise in the environment harms the activities of both human and animal life. It it can cause many psychological ailments, the foremost being loss of hearing. It can lead to medical complications like increased risk of heart attacks, high blood pressure, stress etc.

Incessant honking, loud music at events, industrial processes etc. all create noise.

As educated citizsns of the country we must refrain from indulging in any activity that disturbs others. I hope my thoughts persuade people to act towards a healthy future.

Yours truly,

Subject :- Problems due to rise in noise pollution.

Respected Sir/Ma'am,

I would like to draw the attention of the authorities and the people through the esteemed column of your newspaper regarding the problems created by rise in noise pollution.

Noise pollution has been a problem since a long time but recently it has been increased a lot and it has become impossible to bear it.

Now a days, the number of vehicles on the roads have increased a lot. Some have vehicles out of need but some own a lot of them out of a hobby of collection. The public on the road has increased to large numbers and hence moving vehicles creates a lot of noise. People have no etiquettes and they honk their vehicles unnecessarily. They lack discipline and patience and due to this many of them park their vehicles wrongly which creates a traffic jam and hence increase in noise.

Even the motorists lack patience and they honk their vehicles by pressure continuously as if the traffic lights will turn green by their honking.

The another main reason which has a big hand in increase of noise pollution is the use of loudspeakers in functions. The days are not peaceful but what about a peaceful night? We haven't had a sound sleep from past many weeks due to late night functions in the locality.

Noise pollution disturbs the normal public in many ways. It has lead to mental and psychological problems in many children and aged people as they are more prone to sickness. It not only disturbs the health of people but also the career of students as many of the students in the locality are either school going or college going. They aren't able to concentrate due to loud noises.

It is a request to the concerned authority to kindly take strict actions on the increase levels of noise pollution. There should be limitations on the number of vehicles owned by a particular family. The timing of the functions should be limited and no one should be allowed to throw functions late night.

I hope my request will be taken into consideration and the problem will be solved on an urgent basis.

Thanking You,

Yours sincerely,

Amita
