20. Find the perimeter of a rectangle if its length is 16 m and one of the diagonals is 20 m.​

Here the AB = 16 cm.

and AC = 20 cm.

The triangle ABC will be a right angle triangle with angle ABC = 90 degree

On applying the Pythagoras Theorem here,

(AC)^2 = (AB)^2 + (BC)^2

(20)^2 = (16)^2 + (BC)^2

400 = 256 + (BC)^2

256 + (BC)^2 = 400

(BC)^2 = 400 - 256 = 144

BC = √(144) = 12

height of the rectangle = 12 cm.

so the area of the rectangle = 12 * 16 = 192 square cm.
