We know, p+q = -b/a = 3/2

and, pq = c/a = 7/2

(i) 1/p + 1/q

(p+q)/pq

(3/2) / (7/2)

3/7

(ii) 1 + pq

1 + 7/2

(2+7)/2

9/2
