let r is the radius of the circle

then perimeter of the circle =2πr

so, perimeter of the square=2πr

side of the square =2πr/4=πr/2

area of the circle =πr^2

area of the square =(πr/2)^2

ratio of the area s of the circle and square is

area of the circle : area of the square

=πr^2 : (πr/2)^2

=πr^2 : π^2r^2/4

= 1 : π/4

=1 : 22/7×4

=1 : 22/28

=28 : 22

=14 : 11
