Let Bridget, Caroline & Sarah be B, C, and S respectively.

Given:

B = 2C

C = 3S

B+C+S = 20

We can convert all the variables in terms of S

B = 2C = 2(3S) = 6S

C = 3S

S = S

Now, we have:

6S + 3S + S = 20

10S = 20

S = 20/10

S = 2

Now, we can substitue this value and find the values of B and C.

C = 3S = 3(2) = 6

B = 2C = 2(6) = 12

Therefore, Bridget got £12
