Bhagat Singh was a revolutionary and an Indian socialist who was born in September 1907. He is popularly known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, given his contributions to the Independence Movement of India.
He was born in Khatkar Kalan, Punjab in a family of Sikh Jats in British India.
