India was under the bondage of British rulers from many years before the year of 1901.
After many years of struggle India finally got its independence in the year of 1947.
From the year of 1947 India has totally reformed and enhanced it's infrastructure in terms of political, economical and other circumstances.
So we can say that we are in the development century of India from the year of 2000.
