first of all u divide 20 in the ratio 3:1

so u find 15 and 5 ok

here quantity of milk is 15 ltr

and water is 5 ltr

now the question is milk is 4times of water that is 4:1

means 5×4= 20

the quantity of water should be added= 20-15=5ltr

Answer:

first the value of milk is equal to the ratio of 3:1 then 3+1 =20

then 1=5 next the ratio of 4:1 then 4*5=20and 1into =5

then to find ratio 4:1 add the 5 liter milk
