Total men hours of work = 20 x 10 x 8 = 1600
So 1 man, 1 hr work = 1/1600
As woman is 33.33% more efficient, so 1 woman, 1 hr work=(133.33/100) x (1/1600)=1.3333/1600
So 10 days work of 1 woman working 6 hrs =10 x 6 x (1.3333/1600) = 1/20
Hence 20 women are required.

x = 20.

Given: Woman is 33.33% more efficient than man

To find : The number of women required to finish the same work.

Sol: Let the capacity of each man = 3 units/hour.

Let the capacity of woman = 4 units/hour.

Total work done by man = 20 × 8 × 10 × 3 = 4800 units.------1

Let x be the woman required to complete the job. Total work done by

x woman = x × 4 × 6 × 10 = 240x--------2

Now equating equation 1 and 2,

we get,

240x = 4800

⇒ x = 20.

20 women are required to finish the same work.
