EXPLANATION

........

Mansukh efficiency
= > 20 / 10 = 2

---------

jayanti is 50% more efficient than mansukh

......

jayant efficiency
=> 150 / 100 * 2
=> 3 units / hour

--------

1 day work of mansukh and jayant

=> 2 + 3
=> 5 unit / hour

......

Time taken to finish the work
=> 20 / 5

Answer:

Together they can finish the work in 4 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that Mansukh can do a piece of work in 10 hours.

The part of work done by Manusukh in 1 hour is \frac{1}{10}.

Let together they can finish the work in t hours.

The part of work done by them in 1 hour is \frac{1}{t}.

It is given that jayanti is 50% more efficient then Mansukh.

The part of work done by jayanti in 1 hour is

\frac{1}{10}+\frac{1}{10}\times \frac{50}{100}= \frac{1}{10}+\frac{1}{20}=\frac{3}{20}

Equate the part of work done by them in 1 hour.

\frac{1}{10}+\frac{3}{20}=\frac{1}{t}

\frac{2+3}{20}=\frac{1}{t}

\frac{5}{20}=\frac{1}{t}

\frac{1}{4}=\frac{1}{t}

t=4

Therefore together they can finish the work in 4 hours.
