Let, the total number of fruits in the shop be x.

Therefore, no. of bad fruits = 20% of x = $x*\frac{20}{100}$ = $\frac{x}{5}$.

Remaining fruits = $x-\frac{x}{5}$ = $\frac{4x}{5}$.

No. of fruits kept in the cold storage = 25% of the remaining fruits =$\frac{25}{100} * \frac{4x}{5}$ = $\frac{x}{5}$.

Remaining good fruits = $\frac{4x}{5}- \frac{x}{5} = \frac{3x}{5}$.

Therefore, according to the question,

$\frac{3x}{5} = 30*12 [as, 1 dozen = 12 pc]$

⇒$x= 5*10*12$

⇒$x= 600$

So, the total no. of fruits was 600.

Bad fruits = $\frac{600}{5} = 120$.

Remaining fruits = $600-120=480$.

Fruits in cold storage = $\frac{x}{5} = \frac{600}{5} =120$

Now, 120 fruits = (120÷12) dozen fruits = 10 dozen fruits.

Hence, 10 dozen of fruits he kept in cold storage.
