Answer:

Let length(l)=3x metre and breadth(b)=2x metre

Perimeter=1280 metre

2(l+b)=1280

2(3x+2x)=1280

2 (5x)=1280

10x=1280

x=128

Therefore length=3x=3(128)=384m

Therefore option (a)384 m is correct option

Given:

  • Perimeter (Rectangle) = 1280m
  • Ratio of sides = 3:2

To Find:

  • Length of Rectangle

Formula Used:

 \\ \bigstar{\underline{\boxed{\sf\blue{ Perimeter_{(Rectangle)} = 2(l+b) }}}} \\

Solution:

Let,

Length of the Rectangle be 3x

Breadth of the rectangle be 2x.

After substituting the values in Equation;

➣ p = 2(l + b)

➣ 1280 = 2(3x + 2x)

➣ 1280 = 2(5x)

➣ 1280 = 10x

➣ 1280/10 = x

x = 128

Hence,

The Length is 3x = 3 × 128 => 384 m
