Class 11 Chemistry - Molarity



What will be the concentration of a solution which is made by mixing 25 mL of 0.2 M H2SO4 , 35 mL of 0.25 M H2SO4 , and 45 mL of 0.35 M H2SO4 ?

V1 = 25 ml, M1 = 0.2 M,

V2 = 35 ml, M2 = 0.25 M,

V3 = 45 ml, M3 = 0.35 M

M = (V¹M¹ + V²M² + V³M³)/(V¹ + V² + V³)

M = (25 x 0.2 + 35 x.25 + 45 x 0.35)/(25+ 35+45)

M = 0.28 M
