A SCENE AT RAILWAY PLATFORM
A railway station is a place where trains come and load or unload passengers and goods.Railway platform is a very busy place with a lot of noise and activity.
We can see trains arriving and departing from various platforms now and then.People are seen rushing in and out of trains.Many people come to railway platform to receive or part goodbyes to their friends and relatives.Thus the first thing that strikes a person seeing a railway platform is medley of variety of crowds having their own objectives. Some are to go, some are coming, some are to see off friends and relatives, some are there to receive and welcome people.Wherever the eye meets, there is a sea of mankind. With the noise from crowd, there is noise from continuous announcements of arrival and departure of trains. There are shouts from porters, people waiting for trains, people gathered around ticket collectors, people buying food and travel necessities available at the platform. When a train leaves the platform, some people who are delayed run after the trains to get on it.
