LIFE OF EARLY HUMANS
We know about people who lived in the subcontinent as early as two million years ago. Today, we describe them as hunter- gatherers. The name comes from the way in which they got their food. Generally, they hunted wild animals, caught fish and birds, gathered fruits, roots, nuts, seeds, leaves, stalks and eggs. The immense variety of plants in tropical land like ours meant that gathering plant produce was an extremely important means of obtaining food.
None of these was easy to do. There are several animals that run faster than us, many that are stronger. To hunt animals or catch fish and birds, people need to be alert, quick, and have lots of presence of mind. To collect plant produce, you need to find out which plants or parts of it are edible. Archaeologists have found some of the things they made and used. It is likely that people made and used tools of stones, wood and bone of which stone stools have survived best. Some of these were used to cut meat and bone, scrape bark, and hides, chop fruits and roots. Wood was also used to make huts and tools. And early humans are also credited for the discovery of fire which is an important aspect in human life today!
Hope this helps

Answer :-
Early humans were quite different from modern humans. Modern humans have many technologies and advances that we take for granted. Humans and Pre-Humans have always been developing, either intentionally or unintentionally, technologies that were either necessary for the continuation of life, or for the improved quality of life, thus changing the environment.
Early humans lived by hunting and gathering, affecting their environment only minimally. There was a small human population that supported itself by hunting
Man has developed from prehistoric ages from an ape like creature to what he is now. From fours he started walking on twos. From stooping on the ground he started to stand up on his legs. He learnt to walk run hunt and cook.
Man’s evolution came about in certain phases. It wasn’t done very rapidly. But it came about in a very slow and gradual phase.
Before, man used to live on trees like apes. They had a huge head and a smaller brain. His senses weren’t that developed that time. His only means of survive was to eat the wild berries and fruits that grew on trees. He was a prey that time and not a predator, since he did not know any hunting skills. He was preyed on like other monkeys and apes. His body was full of hair and he had a tail also.
As time passed man came down from the trees to the land. He started residing in caves and niches in mountains. The hair quantity in his body reduced.
Such is the journey of man. This by and by gave rise to huge and renowned civilizations which shaped our future-like the Mayans, the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Indus valley and many more. What we are now is because of them.
