A/Q.

⇒L = 2B - 16cm ... [ i ]

Here L is length of the rectangle B is breadth of the rectangle.

Given that perimeter = 100cm

Formula for perimeter of rectangle → 2(L + B)

From eq. [ i ] ;

⇒100cm = 2 [ 2B - 16 + B ]

⇒ 100cm = 2 [ 3B - 16 ]

⇒100cm = 6B - 32

⇒100 + 32 = 6B

⇒132 = 6B

B = 22cm

Putting value of B in eq. [ i ]

⇒L = 2 (22) - 16

⇒L = 44 - 16

⇒L = 28cm

Area of the rectangle ;

Formula for area of the rectangle : L × B.

 \bf⇒28cm × 22cm \\  \\   \red{\bf⇒616cm²}</p><p></p><p>
