The radius of sphere is 7 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the radius of sphere be r

Volume of sphere =\frac{4}{3} \pi r^3

Volume of 21 spheres =21 \times \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3

Radius of cylinder = 14 cm

Height of cylinder = 49 cm

Volume of cylinder =\pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times 14^2 \times 49

21 spheres of equal radii are melted to form a cylinder

So, Volume remains same

\frac{22}{7} \times 14^2 \times 49 = 21 \times \frac{4}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} r^3

\frac{14^2 \times 49 \times 3}{21 \times 4} = r^3

\sqrt[3]{\frac{14^2 \times 49 \times 3}{21 \times 4}}=r

7=r

Hence  the radius of sphere is 7 cm
