Two electric bulbs A and B are marked 220V. 90W and 220V, 60W
respectively. Which one of the two has greater resistance.

Lets apply the formule:

W = (V^2)/R

Manipulating slightly this formule we have:

R = (V^2)/W Putting values

For 60 W - R = (220^2)/60 = 48400/60 = 806 Ohms

For 100 W = (222^2)/100 = 48400/100 = 484 Ohms

The greater power _> the smaller resistance
