a) Electric power is simply the rate at which energy is transferred through a circuit.

b) P = I * V and I = V / R. Thus, V = I * R so P = I² * R

c) Here you want power from volts and amps. Thus, we use P = I * V to get 100 watts

d) Do you mean solenoid? A solenoid is a tube of wire that magnifies the EM field inside (think of the right hand rule).
