a)u=108×5/18=30 m/s

v=36×5/18=10 m/s

t=4 s

a= (v-u)/t

= (10-30)/4

= -20/4

= -5 m/s^2

So , Deceleration = 5m/s^2

b)u=108 km/h

v=36 km/h

t=4 s=4/3600=1/900 h

a= (v-u)/T

= (36-108)/(1/900)

= -72×900

= -64800 km/h^2

So , Deceleration = 64800 km/h^2

arzoo19: what is the logic of 5 here
puspanjali123rkl: Where ?
arzoo19: in u and v
puspanjali123rkl: When we convert km/h to m/s we multiply 5/18 to convert it.
