Given:  Difference of 0.2% of a number and  10th of that number is equal to 50%  of 196.

So,

=> (x/2 - 0.2% of x) = 50% of 196

=> (x/10 - 2x/1000) = 50/100 * 196

=> 98x/1000 = 98

=> x = 1000
