shah jahan's reign considered as a golden age of architecture because he built many monuments. as he lived a luxurious life and his 30 years of his ruling was free he started built many monuments than any other Mughal emperor as mostly emptied the Mughal treasure. many of is monuments exist still today and some is considered the world wonder and world heritage sites.eg: red fort, Taj mahal etc...
