Given : ABC is a given triangle

To prove : sum of all angles in a triangle is 180 degree

construction: DE is drawn parallel to BC

Proof : if DE is parallel to BC  

           then angle DAB = angle ABC.............. (i)

                    angle EAC = angle ACB..............(ii)

                   [alternate interior angles]                          

as we know ,

DAB + A + EAC = 180          (straight line is always 180)

ABC + A + ACB = 180   (from i and ii)
