Length = l
Radius= r

Area = pie r2

R1 = rho * l/ pie r2


Wire B

Length = 3l
Radius = 3r

Area = pie 9r3

R2 = rho *2l / pie 9r3 = rho * l/ pie * 3r3

total resistance

Rp = rho * l/ 3pie * r3

ratio = rp/ r1 = rho /3 pie r9 divide by rho * l / pie *r3

Rp / R1 = 1 : 9.
