Given :-

For seconds pendulum T = 2 secs  

g = 9.8 m/s^{2}

 

Formula to be used :-

T = 2\pi \sqrt\frac{l}{g}

⇒ l =   \frac{gt^{2} }{4\pi^{2}  }

\frac{9.8X2^{2} }{4X(3.14)^{2} }

0.994 m

So  length of simple pendulum is 0.994 m
