mass of solution =mass of solute + mass of solvent=23+100=123
concentration of solution =mass of solute(salt)/mass of solution(water) multiply by 100
=23/123 multiply by100
=18.7%

To calculate concentration of any solution standard temperature (293 K),we have to calculate the total mass of both solute and solution.
The total mass of the solution;
=(Mass of the solute+mass of the solvent)
=(Mass of the salt+mass of the water)
=(23+100)g
=123 g
The concentration of the solution:
=(100× mass of the solvent/mass of the whole solution)
=(100×23/123)
=18.69%
=18.7% (answer.)
