ANSWER

OPTION-D

SOLUTION:-

Given

perimeter of circle=44cm

Find: Area of circle

according to the question

↪perimeter = 2\pi \: r \\  \\ ↪2  \times \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 44 \\  \\ ↪r =  \frac{44 \times 7}{22 \times 2}  \\  \\ ↪r = 7

Hence

the area of circle

↪\pi {r}^{2}  \\  \\ ↪ \frac{22}{7}  \times  {7}^{2}  \\  \\ ↪ \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \\  \\ ↪22 \times 7 = 154 {cm}^{2}

••••••SOLUTION••••••

*GIVEN*

  • The perimeter of circle=44cm

FIND-The area of circle

*according to the question*

perimeter \: of \: circle \\  \\  = 2\pi \: r = 44 \\  \\  = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 44 \\  \\  = r = 7

HENCE:•

  • THE AREA OF CIRCLE

\=pi {r}^{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \\  \\  = 22 \times 7 \\  \\  = 154 {cm}^{2}
