would be observed if a strong bar magnet
oserved if a strong bar magnet with its south pole
towards one face of the coil is
(i) moved quickly toward it ?
(ii) moved quickly away from it?
(iii) held stationary near it?
Name the phenomena involved.
State the conclusion based on the observations

Answer:

1. the galvanometer will show deflection (say towards right)

2 . the galvanometer will again show deflection that will be in the opposite direction ( say left)

3. No deflection will be shown in the galvanometer.

5. it can be hence concluded that there should be a relative motion between the conductor and the magnet for the current to be induced!..
