so in order to find out the percentage just divide the 18. carat to the 24
 = 18/ 24
As  percentage  is to find in answer= 18/24 *100
 so the 18 carat of gold will have =1800/24 = 75%
So the 18 carat of gold will contain the 75% pure gold. which is our answer
