Hence, p(-1)=0 and p(1)=0
Hence, p(-1)=a(-1)to the power 3 + (-1)to the power 2 - 2(-1) + b=0
= -a+1+2+b=0
= a-b=3 _ eq.(1)
Again, p(1)=a(1)to the power 3 + (1)to the power 2 - 2(1) + b=0
= a+1-2+b=0
= a+b=1 _ eq.(2)
Solving eq.(1) and (2), we get a=2 b= -1.
