24 packets of biscuits and 32 pastries were to be donated for school fete these are to be packed in several smaller identical boxes with the same number of biscuit packets and pastries in each. how many biscuits packets and will each box contain. answer in process

Given ⇒
No. of the Packets of the Biscuits = 24
No. of the Packets of the Pastries = 32

Let us take out the H.C.F. [Highest Common Factor] of 24 & 32.

Factor of 24 = 2,3,4,8,12,24
Factor of 32 = 2,4,8,16,32.

Now,  H.C.F. of 24 and 32 will be 8, since it is the highest common factor which can divide both the 24 and 32.


Now, Packets of the Biscuits in Each box = 24/8
 = 3

Packets of the Pastries in each box = 32/8
= 4

Hence, the number of the Packets of the Biscuits in each box is 3 and the number of packets of Pastries in each box is 4.
