24 volt battery is connected to three resistance each of 6 ohm is connected in parallel three more resistance of 9 ohms are connected in series these two combinations are in turn connected in parallel calculate the total current and the equivalent resistance by drawing a circuit diagram

equivalent resistance of first combination is 2 ohm

and, equivalent resistance of second combination is 27 ohm

these two combination are connected in parallel

so, net resistance is 54/29 ohm

so total current = V/R

= 24/(54/29)
