Therefore there is 49 number of row in the garden and each row contained 49 number of plant.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, 2401 plants are present in a garden. The number of plant each row and number of row are equal.

Let   x number of plants is contained by each row.

Then the number of row will be same as the number of tree =x

First row contained x number of plants.

Second row  contained (x+x)=2x number of plants.

Third row  contained (x+x+x)=3x number of plants.

and so on.......

Therefore xth number of row contained (x\times x)=x²

According to the problem,

x^2=2401

\Rightarrow x=\sqrt{2401}               [ 2401=7×7×7×7 ,\sqrt{2401} =\sqrt{7\times 7\times 7\times 7} =7×7=49]

⇒x=49

Therefore there is 49 number of row in the garden and each row contained 49 number of plant.
