25. A man invested equal sums of money, one at 6% simple interest and the other at 5% compound
interest. If the former earns * 437.50 more as interest at the end of 2 years, find his investment
in each case and the total amount invested.​

+ 59x = 70800

x= 1200

Put the value of x In eq2

= 5 x 1200 – 4y = 0

-4y = -6000

→ y = 1500

Total sum = 1200 + 1500 = 2700Rs.
