25. A marble tile measures 35cm by 20cm. Find the number of tiles
required to cover a wall of size 7m by 6m.​

length = 35cm

breath = 20cm

wall

length = 7m or 700cm

breath = 6cm or 600cm

RTF = number of tiles required to cover the wall

Solution

number of tiles = \frac{Area~of~wall}{Area~of~1~tile}

Area of wall

length × breath

= 700cm × 600cm

= 420000cm²

Area of 1 tile

length × breath

= 35cm × 20cm

= 7000cm²

now ,

number of tiles = \frac{420000}{7000}

= 60 tiles

thus , the required tiles is 60
