Here, ∠y = 80° {Vertically opposite} ...(1)

We know,

Sum of interior angles of a △ = 180°

∴ ∠x + ∠y + 50° = 180°

⇒ ∠x + 80° + 50° = 180°

⇒ ∠x + 130° = 180°

⇒ ∠x = 180° - 130° = 50° ...(2).

You can also find the value of 'x' by exterior angle property. Find the angle adjacent with 80° by the idea of linear pair.

x = 50  \\ y = 80

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 80 \: (vertically \: opposite \: angles) \\ y = 80 \\ by \: angle \: sum \: property \: of \: a \: triangle \\ 50 + y + x = 180 \\ 50 + 80 + x = 180 \\ 130 + x = 180 \\ x = 180 - 130 \\ x = 50 \\  \\ y = 80 \\ x = 50

JUST PUT DEGREES AFTER ALL NUMBERS

HOPE IT HELPS!!!!
