Given:-

  • Weight of object ,mg =25 N

  • Height ,h = 3m

To Find:-

  • Potential Energy , P

Solution:-

As we know that the energy possesses by a body due to height is called Potential Energy.

P = mgh

Substitute the value we get

→ P = 25×3

→ P = 75 J

The Potential Energy of an object have when it lift 3m up is 75 Joules.

Answer:

Potential Energy = Mass × gravity × Height

  • But Mass × gravity is weight.

So,

Potential Energy = Weight × Height

The question says that the object is 25 N.

The N stands for 'Newton' and thats the unit of force.

So, we conclude that this is the weight of the object.

According to Question now,

=> Potential Energy = 25 N × 3 m

=> Potential Energy = 75 Joules
