let the angle be A,

then
complement of 50°=90°-50°=40°,

now according to the question, we have

25% of A = 40°,

25/100 × A =40°,

1/4 × A =40°,

therefore

A=40°×4,

A=160°

The angle is 160 °

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the angle is X .

According to the questions ,

25 \%\times X = 90 - 50 = 40

\frac{25 \times X}{100} = 40

x = \frac{100\times 40}{25}

x = 160

So, the angle is 160 °
