1. Endothermic process is the process in which system absorb the heat from surrounding Hence I, II and III are absorbing heat to change their state of matter. Exothermic Process is just opposite to Endothermic process, It gives out heat So IV,V,VI are giving out heat.
2. Water is heated to form water vapour, This is called Evaporation. Water vapour takes the latent heat from Water while boiling. It is hotter than Boiling water.
3. Latent heat of Ice is 3.34x10^5. It is also correct because 1 Kg of ice required 3.34x10^5 Heat energy to convert into Water.
Hence,
Conclusion:- By watching all the cases we see Option IV is incorrect.
