Here, a = 450 (Money saved during the first month)

a2 = 450 + 20 = 470

a3 = 450 + 40 = 490

n = 12

S12 = n/2 [2a + (n-1)d]

= 12/2 [900 + 11 × 20]

= 6 × 1120

= 6720 Rs
