Answer:

Q. 25

Explanation:

The observations from which we can state that light travels in a straight line are as follows-

1. Formation Of Shadows - A shadow can only be formed by the light when it travels in a straight direction.

2. Watching any object by a straight and curved pipe during presense of light- We can only watch any object by only a straight pipe and this proves that light travels in a straight line. We can not see any object by curved pipe as light does not travel in a zig zag way.

Please mark me as brainliest if it is OK.

Answer:

(25) Two observation which shows that light travels in the straight line are as follows

● Formation of shadow : shadows are formed when some light rays continue to travel in straight line while other rays are stopped by an object.

● Pin hole camera : Formation of an image in pin hole camera.

(26) A pinhole camera image is a real image formed at the screen when light from an object is papassethrough a pin hole. A real image forms at a point where the light rays actually meet. But a shadow is an area with no light formed because of an obstruction to the path of light.

(27) When sun rays fall on the surface of the moon it starts glowing due to which we are able to see the moon.

(28) A periscope is a device like a long tube, containing mirrors which allow you to see over the top of something, used especially in a submarine to see above the surface of the sea.

● There are 2 plane mirros in a periscope.
